Led by CEO Austen Heinz, it was a biotechnology startup that let anyone use DNA editing technology to create entirely new strands of DNA. After you created your DNA, Cambrian Genomics claimed they could create a living, breathing creature from the strand you created.

According to Austen Heinz, this DNA editing technology could be used to bring back dinosaurs and other extinct animals. He predicted people would use the software to design their babies before birth in the future, and could even be used to create mutant pet creatures.

Many thought this DNA editing technology could be the most powerful technology in the history of mankind. But then Cambrian Genomics came to a mysterious end.
