    Human cloning has a long history that dates back to the 1970s. Dr. Landrum Shettles, known as The Clone Doctor, was one of the pioneers of human cloning back then. James Watson, who won the Nobel Prize for co-discovering the DNA molecule, was very vocal about the impact human cloning would have on society.

    In the 1990s, Bill Clinton even passed legislation that outlawed human cloning.
