The "official" story is that a supposed madman was randomly poisoning bottles of Tylenol on store shelves throughout the Chicago area. 7 people died from these poisoned bottles within a few days, and it set off total hysteria. People threw away the Tylenol in their homes and Johnson & Johnson, the makers of Tylenol, recalled millions of bottles nationwide to test them.
