The Mysterious Death of Freddie Prinze

The death of Freddie Prinze in 1977 is a forgotten Hollywood mystery. His rise to fame was faster and bigger than possibly any comic in history -- faster than Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Jim Carrey, everyone.

After appearing on The Tonight Show at only 19, he starred in Chico and the Man, which was often the #1 show on television during its first year and turned Prinze into a cultural icon.

His fame didn’t last long. His “suicide” in 1977 has some curious links to MK Ultra and the JFK assassination, leading many to believe there’s much more to the story of his death than the official version.
