He had "more women than Hefner" and was one of the richest men on the planet for awhile. Bernie Cornfeld was an international businessman who ran a mutual fund that collapsed in a massive crash in the 1970s. He counted his neighbor Hugh Hefner among his closest friends. Cornfeld lived in a Beverly Hills mansion dubbed Grayhall, and had 15-20 women living with him in the mansion at any given time. He was also involved with Heidi Fleiss when he was nearly 40 years older than her, as well as a number of other women who went on to become Hollywood actresses.
